So What Exactly does this Mean?....

When you work in a hotel for 17 years you eat, sleep, and breath client care systems.  You can't run a hotel alone or without some type of system to stay in touch with clients, anticipate their needs or have them return to your hotel (as I've mention many times you don't want to give anyone a reason to go elsewhere, you want them to return to you...especially if the reason was you were never in touch again after they bought from you once).  

When I came into the entrepreneur world I met so many people who were struggling with their business.  Entrepreneurs are so focused on finding their next client or landing their next job that they forget about their past clients or their existing ones.  Your database is a gold mine!

Did you know that it costs 5X more to sell to a new client than it does to sell to an existing client.  This is not just actual money out of pocket costs, this is time trying to find a new client, energy worrying about where your next client comes from.  It's exhausting.

People buy from people they KNOW, LIKE, and TRUST.  Your current clients already do this so you don't have to prove yourself to them, why not sell to them again?

Why do you not stay in touch with your past or existing clients?
